Why settle for flat nail polish and french tips when you can bring your nails to life with augmented reality. Metaverse is taking nails into the 21st centure with its AR-enabled press on nails that create 3D holographic images when scanned with a smartphone.
Created by Australian designer and inventor Thea Baumann. Metaverse offers four collections of press on nails each with their own physical flare and related AR holograms. Bo Peep, for example, features auspicious hologram motifs inspired by the Year of the Sheep: dollar signs, yuan, and a sweet Shepherdess and her flock.
Baumann is targeting the Chinese market after receiving a $750,000 round of investment according to Wareable to cater to Chinese female youth who are often change up their style and are heavy digital/smartphone users.
